Join the Idle Choir this October!
On Saturday 11th October, Three Idle Women will perform a live selection of songs from their acclaimed album All Hands Together, as featured on Channel 4’s Narrow Escapes. The evening will also include a preview of brand-new material from their upcoming 2026 release.
We’re inviting singers to join us in forming the Idle Choir for this special occasion! The arrangements have been specially created to complement the group's signature close harmonies. No music-reading experience is needed—we’ll teach everything by ear.
What to expect:
Some brand-new arrangements prepared especially for this performance
Learning tracks (and scores if needed) to help you practise at home
A full-day workshop on Sunday 5th October, 10:00am–4:00pm at St Michael’s Hall, Summertown. This is a chance to meet your fellow singers and rehearse together. The session will be recorded and shared for those unable to attend, and for everyone to revisit as needed (though in-person attendance is preferred)
A final rehearsal on Friday 10th October, 7:30–9:30pm at St Barnabas Church, Jericho
Afternoon rehearsal Saturday 11th October, 3:00 - 5:00pm followed by the concert, 6.30-9.30pm at St. Andrew’s Church, Linton Road.
Cost: £60 standard fee (Concession available £50) Pay it forward if you can to support those who can afford to pay less.
Existing Idle Choir singers receive a £10 discount.
